Job purpose: The principal responsibility of a store manager is handling and overseeing all the day-to-day processes that are carried out in the store. He manages the product inventory, salespersons, goods for display, sales, etc. The store manager is responsible for creating a 'best in class' selling culture and ensures smooth operations in the department store.
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Settling-in and organize on-the job staff training, motivation and team building
• Manage and coordinate internal goods flow from local central warehouse to the store, organization of in-store stock rooms and shelves replenishment
• Operates to guarantee the highest service level in terms of maintenance and security
• Ensure high standards of customer service
• Contribute to the diffusion and development of the Coincard fidelity card
• Ensure the complete and correct application of visual merchandising principles
• Propose, organize sales campaign and suggest the mark down policy for the in-season promotions
• Support buyers in communicating with brands, and when requested/needed in accordance with purchasers
• Prepare the forecasts according to the business analysis guidelines and with particular orientation to the profitability of the business
• Analyze the daily/weekly sales data and suggest new/additional sales reports and necessary activities to improve the sales turnover
• Regular monitoring of stock level and relevant composition
• Monitor of the local competitors and suggest new business opportunities

Profile Requirements:
• University Diploma or equivalent of related business experience
• Strong interpersonal communication and sales skills.
• Bookkeeping skills
• Decision making and time management skills
• Computer skills including the ability to operate a cash register, computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level
• Very good knowledge of English and Italian Language
• Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to lead and facilitate multiple activities and resources.
